Hey Crew,
It’s been two full weeks of Quaranturnt training. How are you feeling? Happy to have a rhythm? Tired of my ramblings? Nervous you’re not shredded lean yet? If you’re happy with the rhythm and feeling good, that’s great. If you’re feeling like you wish you were stronger or leaner, then I have one message for you: Trust the process. I don’t care what your goals are - drop bodyfat, get strong, get huge, or whatever getting “toned” means - they all take time. A swimmer doesn’t cut seconds off their time in a week, it takes a season. A company isn’t started and solid for a billion in a week, it takes years. Your body adapts and transforms on the timeline of weeks, months, and years. Weeks to feel different, months to look different, and years to be different. If you’ve been consistent with the workouts, you’re probably starting to feel good. But you look pretty much the same. In 3-6 months, you will have truly gotten stronger and leaner. But if you stop, your body will revert back to the homeostasis you had before you started putting in work. After about a year or 2 of consistency, you will have created a new homeostasis. A new person. From here, if you take a break, you’ll get right back into it easily. You won’t feel like working out and eating right are things you “have to” do, you’ll feel like they are things you just do because that’s who you are. You’ll have a deep fundamental confidence that you are able to get stronger, leaner, more athletic - and you’ll know exactly how much work it will take to get there. There is only one question and you’re the only one with the answer: Will you put in the work? Will you commit to consistency? Will you trust the process? Today’s workout is simple, but high volume (that is, lots of reps). So it’s simple, but I promise it will be some good work for you.
