It’s Friday. That used to mean things like dates, house parties, drinks at the local places where people get drinks. It was great. Now, it means tomorrow you can wake up and keep on both your pajama bottoms AND the tops.
But maybe we can still do those same things. Like for instance, if anyone wants to go on a zoom date, I have a few friends who could meet you anywhere you want - Zoom, FaceTime, Hangouts, Snapchat - it’s your choice. For drinks though, I want to throw out a reminder that drinking water is abundantly important. Do you like nice hair? Drink water. Do you like soft skin? Drink water. Do you like headaches? Then ignore my advice! A Case For Yoga - Part 1 For the workout today, just like every week, we have yoga! This is the last week I’ll send out the same video, but if you haven’t done this flow yet you really should try it! If you think you don’t need to invest in an active recovery day, a good stretch out, and warmups/cooldowns bookending your workouts, then you simply haven’t worked out much in your life. Every person who has gone deep in any sort of fitness will tell you that properly maintaining healthy movement through yoga/stretching/rolling out/etc is pivotal. Why? I’ll skip a lot of things related to the actual state of muscles and connective tissues. But my arguments for engaging in weekly yoga are injury prevention, self-diagnostics, and kinesthetic sense. This is already a lot of writing though, so I will go in depth on those tomorrow!
